Seven Daffodils

“Seven Daffodils” written  by Lee Hays(Weavvers) & Fran Moseley(his sister).  The title is actually SEVEN DAFFODILS, although a few recordings have been made under the title SEVEN GOLDEN DAFFODILS.   There have been recordings by Kenny Ball and His Jazzmen, The Blueground Undergrass, The Brandywine Singers, The Brothers Four, Tom Chapin, Lonnie Donegan, Good Medicine, Nobuyoshi Ino, The Lords, The Mojos, Nina & Frederik, Jimmie F. Rodgers, The Seldom Scene, The Shaw Brothers, Alice Stuart, and The Tarriers. Actually, tThis song was written by John Sebris who now lives in Fort Myers, FL. He wrote the words for his wife, Maureen and sold the lyrics to the Weavers for $50.00. John played guitar for the Clancy brothers and seemed to know every word to every song
