“Baby the Rain Must Fall” is a song written by Elmer Bernstein and Ernie Sheldon and performed by Glenn Yarbrough after he left the Limeliters for a solo career. In early 1965, the song reached #2 on the adult contemporary chart and #12 on the Billboard chart.  The song is the title song from the movie, Baby the Rain Must Fall and is heard during the opening credits. The song appeared on Yarbrough’s 1965 album, Baby the Rain Must Fall. It was recorded at RCA Victor’s Music Center of the World in Hollywood, California.
